August marks five years of business for Joann’s Beauty Supply and Salon, which has been serving the needs of the community in their ethnic hair-care needs.
To celebrate this month, customers will receive a free gift simply for coming in.
Joann’s specializes in perms, relaxers, press and curls, colors, cuts, and maintenance for hair’s upkeep between salon visits.
Owner Joann is from the Bay Area and was motivated to open her own store in town after attending the Women’s Economic Ventures program. She and her salon colleague Valerie Roland boast more than 25 years of experience as hair stylists.
Joann’s is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The salon is located at 315 N. Lincoln St. in Santa Maria.
