• Congressman-elect Salud Carbajal announced his office will distribute, via random drawing, a limited number of tickets to constituents so they may attend the 58th Inauguration of the President of the United States on Jan. 20, 2017.
“A peaceful transfer of power is the bedrock of our democracy, and I am pleased to offer residents from the Central Coast the opportunity to witness this historic moment,” Carbajal said in a statement.
To request tickets, email info@saludcarbajal.com providing a full name, the number of tickets requested, address in the 24th Congressional District, and a contact number.
While tickets to the inauguration are free of charge, Carbajal’s office does not compensate for any travel arrangements made for the ceremony. Each congressional office is given a limited number of tickets to the inaugural ceremony and entrance into the lottery does not guarantee admittance.
Ticket requests must be submitted no later than Friday, Dec. 16.
