On March 15, Old Town 4-H held its general meeting. Old Town 4-H is a local club based in Orcutt with approximately 80 members.
The meeting began with an ice cream social fundraiser. Members enjoyed their sundaes while the officers talked about upcoming events, and the beef project gave a presentation, according to Jacqui Huebner, Old Town 4-H club communications representative. Members learned about beef products used in everyday life, and then talked about what they had learned, Huebner said in a press release.
Old Town 4-H offers a variety of animal projects, as well as other fun projects like table setting and cooking. The club is about working hard, having fun, and learning responsibility. āBy following these values, our members have been led to great success at our county fair in a variety of areas,ā Huebner said in a press release.Ā
