From now until July 30, the Central Coast Community Impact Awards Selection Committee will be taking nominations for its third annual awards competition.
Nonprofit radio stations K-LIFE 89.3 FM and 890 AM established the awards to honor individuals and organizations who advance the quality of life on the Central Coast. Awards will be handed out for Outstanding Business of the Year, Philanthropist of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Non-Profit Organization of the Year.
All nominees will be recognized at an outdoor reception and ceremony at Avila Beach on Sept. 9. The awards will be handed out on Dec. 2 during a banquet at the Monarch Club in Nipomo.
The Awards Host Committee is composed of 20 community leaders and co-chaired by Dr. Rene Bravo and James Diani.
Nomination forms are available on the Community Impact Awards website at CentralCoastImpact.org, or from K-LIFE by calling 541-4343.
