Four Nipomo plant nurseries are scheduled to open their doors to the general public as part of the Central Coast Greenhouse Growers’ Association’s 10th annual Open House on April 2.

The event is an opportunity to visit with growers and learn about care and handling of plants and flowers. Clearwater Nursery, Eufloria Flowers, Pacific Sun Growers, and Viva Farms are participating. Each nursery will be donating a portion of that day’s sales to fund several association scholarships for agriculture students.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with breakfast from the Nipomo 4-H Club and a barbecue lunch by the Rotary Club of Nipomo.
