It’s a new year, full of new opportunities. Tap into some of them by networking at the Santa Ynez Valley Visitors Association meeting on Jan. 13 at 8:30 a.m.
Kathy Janega-Dykes, CEO of the Santa Barbara Conference and Visitors Bureau and Film Commission, and economist Kenneth Harwood will talk about the state of the local tourism industry, and the 2009 Visitors Guide to Solvang and the Santa Ynez Valley will make its debut, with free copies available for attendees.
The networking meeting is at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott Hotel, 555 McMurray Road, Buellton. Admission is free—as are refreshments—and everyone is welcome.
The association boasts more than 120 members from Ballard, Buellton, Los Alamos, Los Olivos, Solvang, and Santa Ynez.
For more information, contact the group’s executive director, Mary Harris, at 686-0053 or mary@syvva.com or visit santaynezvalleyvisit.com.
