Put on your dancing shoes, kick up your heels, and enjoy 50 years of Motown sounds at the 3rd annual Mayors Ball on June 13.
This year’s ball, a “Plain & Fancy” affair, takes place at the Santa Ynez Marriott in Buellton and honors all five North County mayors. The event raises money for the Northern Santa Barbara County United Way and benefits the communities of Santa Maria, Guadalupe, Lompoc, Cuyama, and the Santa Ynez Valley.
The V.I.P. reception starts at 6 p.m. followed by a catered dinner and dancing until 10 p.m. Former KCOY anchor and current Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Drew Sugars will emcee the festivities. Tickets for the gala are $100 each.
