Local law firm Andre, Morris, and Buttery—with offices in Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, and Paso Robles—will celebrate its 60 years in business on the Central Coast with a symposium at the Clark Center in Arroyo Grande on Jan. 26.
Bob Stapleton, owner of cycling’s Team Columbia, will be the keynote speaker. Stapleton helped found Voice Stream Wireless, which was bought by T-Mobile’s parent company, Deutsche Telekom. Stapleton and a panel of other experts will speak on “life after an historic national election,” “managing investments in a new era,” “the employment law class every business should take,” and “protecting your business from internal theft.”
George and Peter Andre started the law firm as Andre and Andre at 1130 Garden St. in San Luis Obispo in 1948. Andre, Morris, and Buttery provides expertise in civil litigation, business and real estate transactions, employment law, environmental and land use, and estate planning, trusts, and probate.
The anniversary event is set for 3 to 7 p.m. Anyone is welcome to attend, but seating is limited. Tickets cost $50—proceeds will benefit the California Central Coast Research Partnership.
