The owner of Lompoc’s Skydive Santa Barbara is one of several small business owners being featured in American Express OPEN’s new TV ads: “How Can I Get Paid Faster?”
David Hughes, a 22-year skydiving veteran and former British skydiving champion, has operated Skydive Santa Barbara for 15 years. The center offers an 18,000-foot tandem jump with panoramic views of the coastline and has had all of its aircraft and pilots certified by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Hughes’ ad features AcceptPay, a new online invoicing service that helps small business owners get paid faster. Customers can pay invoices using credit and debit cards, eChecks, cash, or checks, and the payments are deposited directly into the business owner’s bank account.
