
The Lompoc Civic Theatre and Lompoc High School drama students have banded together to produce The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, a play and book by Barbara Robinson, as their holiday presentation to the Lompoc community.
More than 30 local actors, from young children to adults, will present the Christmas comedy, which is about a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant taken over by the Herdman familyās ābadā children.
Lompoc High School students Hailey Pickles, Gabriel J. Thomas, Angel Cisneros, and Blake Brundy are among those playing the Herdman kids. Younger students James Aranguren and Liana Lindwey will complete the family of six unruly children.
The partnership performance was mounted once before in 2005, and is part of a season of revivals the Lompoc Civic Theatre is reliving to celebrate its 40th year anniversary.
Shows will be held at the Lompoc Civic Auditorium, 217 South L St., on Dec. 6, 7, 13, and 14 at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees will be held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 8 and 15. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 years old and younger. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Alfieās Fish and Chips, the Lompoc Chamber of Commerce, and Texas Cattle Co.
