Why throw out your excess building materials when you can donate them to Habitat for Humanity?

ReStore of Northern Santa Barbara County is a home and office salvage recycling center owned and operated by the local branch of Habitat for Humanity. It’s also a retail outlet where quality used and surplus building materials, furniture, and other useful household items are sold at a fraction of normal prices.

Proceeds from ReStore sales help Habitat for Humanity affiliates fund the construction of houses within the community. When homeowners and businesses donate surplus, overstocked, close-outs, slightly damaged, or ā€œwrongā€ order materials to ReStore, Habitat will send them to anyone who needs them, or use them to build homes. Either way, the materials or profits go directly to the organization to build more homes.

Habitat for Humanity’s Northern Santa Barbara County ReStore is located at 2053 Preisker Lane, suite C, in Santa Maria.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every second and fourth Saturday.
