County businesses that achieved “green” certification in 2009 will be honored during the Green Business Program of Santa Barbara County breakfast on Feb. 5.
Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce President Bob Hatch will provide the event’s opening remarks, followed by a keynote address given by Wes Hagen, winemaker and vineyard manager of Clos Pepe Vineyards. Hagen also promotes Clos Pepe and the Santa Rita Hills as a premier Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wine growing area.
The event will run from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Santa Maria Inn, 801 S. Broadway in Santa Maria. The cost to attend is $15 per person in advance or $20 on the day of the event.
