The Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce is kicking off the holidays with festive music, a visit from Santa Claus, and more at its annual Christmas Luncheon, scheduled for Dec. 8 at the Santa Maria Elks Lodge, beginning at noon.

Ā

The 81-student choir of Orcutt Academy’s K-8 campus will be returning for an encore presentation of holiday tunes, led by director Dona Kintzi. All performers will be treated to lunch and a holiday gift, so the Chamber is asking attendees for donations of $25 or more.

Ā

Toys for Tots will also be collecting for its Christmas campaign. Attendees are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys, puzzles, or games, with a minimum value of $10 each, to share with a child who might not otherwise receive a Christmas gift this year. Lunch will be served at a cost of $16 per person.

The Elks Lodge is located at 1309 N. Bradley Road.
