Homeowners worried about their current mortgages, facing foreclosure, or just interested in learning more about available options can watch videos of foreclosure prevention workshops on Santa Maria Community Television.

The 30-minute programs were recorded at workshops presented in February at the Santa Maria Public Library and sponsored by the City of Santa Maria and the Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation.

The shows will be broadcast on Comcast Channel 23, the government access channel. Showtimes in English are Mondays at 7:30 a.m., Saturdays at 9 a.m., and Sundays at 7:30 p.m. Spanish-language shows air Mondays at 6:30 a.m., Saturdays at 8 a.m., and Sundays at 6:30 p.m.

The Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation is a HUD-approved counseling agency and is available for one-on-one consultation about foreclosure alternatives or to help homeowners negotiate with lenders.
