Offering an alternative to traditional fitness centers, national chain Snap Fitness will be celebrating its grand opening in Nipomo on Oct. 24.

Visitors will be treated to free gifts and food, and the event promises fun for kids as well, with a bounce house and other activities.  The club will also hold a drawing for a free three-month membership.

Snap’s amenities, including all the cardio, strength-training equipment, and free weights found in big-box club, are available all hours of the day or night. Each club member is provided with a personalized keycard for access even during un-staffed hours. Snap offers month-to-month memberships and the ability to freeze a membership for up to three months. For a limited time, the club is dispensing with enrollment fees, for a savings of $149.

Snap Fitness is located at 671 W. Tefft St. in Nipomo, next to Rabobank.
