Charity, responsibility, caring—the values of the Boy Scouts of America will be on display on Sept. 25 at the ā€œSpirit of the Mission,ā€ a fundraising event benefiting Santa Barbara County Boy Scouts at La Purisima Mission in Lompoc.

The evening will begin at 4:30 p.m. with docent-led tours of the mission, followed by wine tasting, dinner, and a silent auction. There will also be live music and dancing, twilight mission tours, and a special dessert prepared by local scouts. And in keeping with the Scout mission, 10 percent of the event’s proceeds will go to support La Purisima.

Ā Event coordinators are currently seeking donations for the silent auction. Tickets to the event are available for pre-order.
