Local eighth-grade students better bring their Warrior appetites to the Eighth Grade Warrior Welcome at Righetti High School on Aug. 28.
Members of the high school’s Future Farmers of America will prepare a Santa Maria-style barbecue, offering a sandwich and a drink for $5, followed by the welcome presentation at 5:30 p.m. in the gym.
From 6 to 7:30 p.m., potential students and their parents will be able to get school information from students, teachers, and administrators. Plus, current Righetti students will lead campus tours throughout the night.
Parents and their eighth grade students from Righetti High School feeder schools are invited to attend. Righetti High School is located at 941 E. Foster Road in Santa Maria.
