Children and their families will be able to spend more time enjoying hands-on learning about marine life, agriculture, exotic animals, and creative arts at the Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum in 2010.

The museum, located at 705 S. McClelland, will be open on the last Sunday of every month between noon and 4 p.m. beginning Jan. 31. Admission is free on those days for each adult who accompanies a child. Regular admission for children is $8 and free for children younger than 2. Annual family memberships are also available for unlimited admission for up to five family members and include access to members-only events and programs.
