With summer fast approaching, this is the perfect time to become a member of the Santa Maria Valley Discovery Museum. For the price of taking your family to the movies, you can treat them to an entire year of fun learning adventures and special events. Membership is the gift to your family that keeps on giving all year long. The museum depends on memberships to keep our doors open, and in return you can visit us as often as you like. And with our 13,000 square feet of cool air-conditioned exhibits and programs, hanging out at the Discovery Museum is a great way to beat the heat this summer!
With discounts on summer camps, birthday parties, programs, merchandise, and free special events, your membership will pay for itself quickly. Unlimited yearly admission for one child and one adult is $85. A family membership for two adults and up to three children from the same household is $100. For an additional $25, our Association of Children’s Museums Reciprocal Family Membership has the added benefit of half price admission for up to six people at more than 200 facilities throughout the United States, including the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum and 24 children’s museums in California.
We have a growing number of agencies on the Central Coast who are teaming up with the Discovery Museum to provide ongoing programming for the children they serve. Our Agency Memberships start at $200 for unlimited admission for up to 10 people. We can customize a membership package to meet the needs of your family or your organization, so give us a call or visit the museum to explore the option that provides the best benefit to you.
