Santa Barbara County hosts its annual spelling bee on Feb. 27. Students will be competing, not vocally, but on paper.

Santa Barbara Countyās competition is open to public and private schools throughout the county. It will be hosted in the education office auditorium, 400 Cathedral Oaks Road, in Santa Barbara.
