The 2011 Santa Barbara County Fair is still months away, but the deadline to register as an independent livestock exhibitor is coming up on Jan. 31, 2011.
Independent exhibitors include those not affiliated with the 4-H Club, Future Farmers of America (FFA), or the Grange Club. Exhibitors must be at least 9 years old, but not older than 18, by Jan. 1, 2011
to be eligible to show.
The county fair will be held July 13 to 17, 2011, at the Santa Maria Fairpark.
All entries must be entered online by May 20, 2011. If required, online entry receipts and entry fees are due by 5 p.m. on May 21, 2011, in the Fair Administration Building, located at the Santa Maria Fairpark, 937 S. Thornburg. Registration letters can be directed to Dennis Pearson, CEO of the Fairpark.
