Agents at Keller Williams Realty in Santa Maria will be playing Santa Claus by collecting toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program in an effort to help local needy children have a good holiday season.

Boxes are located at the office, 204 E. Enos Drive, and toys can be dropped off until Dec. 11.

ā€œI just love this time of the season, and we are so excited to be a part of this Christmas traditions,ā€ said CEO/Team Leader Tony Gonzales in a press release. ā€œIt’s just amazing how people are able to give so much to those who have so little.ā€

The mission of the Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community where the campaign drive is conducted.

ā€œThe objectives of Toys for Tots are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources—our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to better communities in the future,ā€ the Toys for Tots website states.
