A donation by Tolman and Wiker Insurance Services of Santa Maria to Community Health Centers of the Central Coast Inc. (CHC) will put new smiles on the faces of three local students.

The $10,000 donation will be used to provide free braces to selected Santa Maria High School students. The students will be selected during health fairs the CHC is conducted at the high school on Nov. 1 and 15. The free clinics for freshmen will include screenings, immunizations, and health exams conducted by CHC health care professionals.

ā€œCHC is extremely grateful for the support Tolman and Wiker is showing for our organization and the work we do here on the Central Coast,ā€ said Ronald Castle, CHC’s chief executive officer, in a press release. ā€œDonations like this allow the CHC to further our mission of providing a wide range of health-care services to members of all our local communities.ā€
