Need a good workout after the holidays? The Lompoc Aquatic Center will reopen on Saturday, Jan. 4, after a 12-day closure to make minor repairs and preventative measures to the facility’s pool heaters.

The schedule for Saturday will be lap swim from 8:30 to 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and recreational swim will be 1 to 3 p.m. On Sunday, Jan. 5, lap swim will be from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and recreational swim will be from 1 to 3 p.m.

From Jan. 6 to 10, lap swim runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5:45 to 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 5 to 7:30 p.m.Ā  Recreational swim will run Monday through Friday from 1 to 3 p.m., as Lompoc Unified School District students are off for winter break. Evening swim lessons will resume Jan. 6. Swim lesson sign-ups are ongoing at the Anderson Recreation Center, located at 125 W. Walnut Ave.
