On April 25, dozens of teachers, students, and parents at Bonita Elementary School in Santa Maria will roll up their sleeves for some spring cleaning and campus beautification as part of Comcast Cares Day.

Accompanied by more than 20 Comcast Cable employees, volunteers will lay down new bark in the main playground area and refurbish the soccer field with 10 yards of sand. Other planned projects include painting a map of the United States and a calisthenics grid on the playground asphalt and installing new picnic benches on campus.

Comcast employees will also install new nets on the soccer goals and provide new soccer balls.

ā€œComcast is being extremely generous in their support of our school,ā€ Bonita Elementary School Principal Aaron Shrogin said in a press release. ā€œThe
materials they are donating and the voluntary labor of their employees will make a huge difference on our campus and for
our students.ā€

The workday will begin at 9 a.m. and
end in the early afternoon. Comcast will provide breakfast, lunch, and Comcast Cares Day T-shirts
