Community Bank of Santa Maria recently announced the promotion of Curt Davis, a 30-year veteran of community banking, to the position of executive vice president, loan administrator.

Davis joined the bank in 2003 as a commercial lender and was later promoted to senior vice president in 2006. He graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond with a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing, and later graduated from the Oklahoma University Commercial Lending School in Norman, Okla.

Community Bank of Santa Maria opened in March 2001 and has three local branches: two in Santa Maria and one in Lompoc.
