The California Space Authority is looking for businesses and individuals to become members of the California Space Centerās āLaunch Teamā by contributing to the project by Dec. 31.
A minimum donation of $10,000 for organizations, or $1,000 for individuals, will qualify the donorās name for inclusion in a permanent exhibit celebrating the centerās supporters.
Construction of the space center will begin in 2010 near Vandenberg Air Force Base. Once completed, it will house a visitorsā center, education facilities for youth and adults, a conference center, and mission support facilities.
