The annual Bulldog Bow-Wow celebrates the return of school by bringing new and current students alike to Allan Hancock College’s campuses. Students will learn about the latest student services, academic programs, and student organizations during the fall semester kick-off event.

The Bow-Wow is sponsored by the college’s Associated Student Body Government, and will be held at both the Santa Maria campus and the Lompoc Valley Center. The Santa Maria campus event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the student center on Sept. 4. The Lompoc center will celebrate on Sept. 11 in the center courtyard from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

A press release sent out by the college said participants will learn about services such as counseling, tutoring, and financial aid. They’ll also get to meet faculty and staff, explore academic and career preparation programs, and enjoy free music, karaoke, and food.
