The K Kids Club at Adam Elementary School is working with the Kiwanis Club to collect items for the Santa Barbara County Food Bank and the Santa Maria Vocational Training Center.
On Friday, Dec. 6, the team is asking everyone to help “Stuff the School Bus.” A school bus will be parked at Adam School, 500 W. Windsor Ave., from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to receive donations of non-perishable food and new or gently used clothing, toys, and books.
Students and Kiwanis Club volunteers will staff the bus all day to accept and organize donations. The food will be donated to the food bank and the vocational training center will receive the other items to distribute to the community.
