Treetop Yoga in Santa Maria is playing host to a Winter Solstice Celebration event in benefit of Toys for Tots on Dec. 21. The event will include yogis demonstrating and performing sun salutations in recognition of the winter solstice.
Yoga teachers Jenya Hubbard, Luana Knowlton, Jennifer May, and Kimberly Zimmerman will lead the class in performing nine of the 12 sun salutations and will perform the traditional 108 repetitions. Attendees can join in on a few or all of the salutations.
Pre-registration cost is $5, $20 for those who pay the day of. All proceeds go toward Toys for Tots. Treetop Yoga is at 2771 Santa Maria Way, suite C, Santa Maria. More information is available at 266-6391 or treetopyoga.net.
