Xombiewoof Magazine, and its new record label Xombiewoof Records, currently has a crowd funding campaign open on Indiegogo.com for an album set to raise funds for St. Jude Childrenās Hospital, the Heartbeat4Kids Foundation, and the Central Coast Diabetes Foundation. The album, titled Black Winter, will feature 20 tracks, each by a different heavy metal band.
The title of the album is symbolic of the ability to thrive amid harsh circumstances, explained a statement released by Xombiewoof Magazineās Joseph Timmons. The crowd funding campaign needs to raise $10,000 to produce and master the album by Sept. 30. Artists like Bumblefoot and Rudy Sarzo are already on board, according to Timmons.
