Between 2,000 and 2,500 girls and women will compete in the 10k and 5k She.Is.Beautiful Run on Sept. 21 at East Beach in Santa Barbara.
The event benefits Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara, which offers after-school programs designed to help girls from 4 to 17 years old see their full potential.
The run is accessible to runners and walkers of all ability levels and features one of the nation’s only Baby Mama stroller divisions.
