Buy wine and support the Central Coast Literacy Council. A wine auction to benefit the nonprofit will run from 4 to 7 p.m. on June 20 at 3940 Dominion Road in Santa Maria. The auction will include library wines from Cottonwood Canyon and McKeon-Phillips wineries.

The event will include a six-course heavy appetizer menu prepared by world-renowned Chef Ardison Phillips. Each course will also be paired with wines from the wineries for $28 per person. There’s a $5 designated driver discount.

Live and silent auction items will include some of the following wines: McKeon-Phillips’ 1998 Pinot Noir, McKeon-Phillips’ 1999 Bailey’s Private Reserve, McKeon-Phillips’ 1997 Sauvignon Blanc, Cottonwood Canyon’s 1991 Pinot Noir, Cottonwood Canyon’s 1996 Sharon’s Pinot Noir, and Cottonwood Canyon’s 2001 Cabernet Franc.

There will be wine magnums and 3-liter bottles given away via raffle.
