The Wildling Museum of Art and Nature announced the election of four new board members to its large team of dedicated volunteers. The new members bring a wealth of experience to the museum, each with their own unique skills to offer, according to a museum press release.
The new members include Susan Belloni, Katherine Godfrey, David Pebley, and Virginia Sloan. Belloni is a landscape painter who specializes in plein air painting and has worked with other groups including SCAPE and the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County. Godfrey is a longtime supporter of the Wildling Museum who has served as a docent at the Santa Barbara Historical Society, Casa Del Herrero, Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and the Creek Spirit Foundation.
Pebley grew up in the Santa Ynez Valley and works at Montecito Bank and Trust. He also has years of experience working with service organizations in the San Francisco Bay area where he lived previously. Sloan rejoins the Wildlingās board after serving on the museumās advisory council for two years. She was a founding board member of the Wildling Museum when it formed in 1997 and has worked with the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden and the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History.
