The Wildling Museum announced “Trees of the Tri-Counties” as the theme for its annual nature photography competition. Entries for both the adult and junior competitions are due May 1.

The museum is seeking creative photographers to capture the diverse range of tree species of the Tri-Counties (Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo) in a fresh, unique way.

Submissions to the adult competition will show in the second floor gallery of the museum. Entries to the junior competition show in the Barbara Goodall Education Center. Awards for first, second, and third place will be given in both categories.

The Wildling Museum of Art and Nature is located at 1511-B Mission Dr., Solvang. More info: 688-1082 or visit wildlingmuseum.org.
