On Nov. 21, Righetti High School softball player Breanna Timmons signed with the Seattle University Red Hawks in front of family, coaches, and friends.
Although she manned the second base position for the Warriors, Timmons was recruited as a short stop. Between athletics and academics, 70 to 75 percent of Timmons’ tuition will be covered as she studies criminal justice.
Another local softball star—Sara Dominguez, a catcher from Santa Ynez High School—signed with the Red Hawks early last fall.
