Before you stuff yourself silly on Turkey Day, sweat off some calories at Lompoc Parks and Recreation’s three-mile Turkey Trot Fun Run, scheduled for Nov. 22 at River Park in Lompoc.
Runners of all ages and ability levels are welcome to participate in the event, which will include nine different divisions. All participants will receive a free T-shirt and a chance to win prizes for first and second place.
All participants must check in between 8 and 8:45 a.m. on race day, with the race beginning at 9 a.m. The cost to participate is $15 in advance and $20 at the event.
River Park is located at the intersection of Highway 246 and Sweeney Road.
