The Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department is proud to announce the return of the 17th annual Turkey Trot Fun Run. Scheduled for Nov. 23 at the Hagerman Sports Complex, 3300 Skyway Drive in Santa Maria, the fun will kick off at 9 a.m.
Runners of all ages and fitness levels are invited to participate. People ages 14 and up can test their endurance with the 5K loop around Waller Park, while runners ages 6 to 13 are invited to run in the one-mile loop around the Hagerman complex multi-purpose trail.
Registration is $25. The fee includes a Sport-Tek T-shirt. Medals are awarded to first- and second-place male and female finishers in the age 18 division.
