The newly established Central Coast Triathlon Club is recruiting swimmers, bikers, runners, and triathletes of all ages and athletic experience.
Ā
The clubās co-founders, Samantha Pruitt and Elizabeth North, are long-time multi-sport athletes themselves. Pruitt owns her own fitness training business, Team V Formation, in Grover Beach.
Ā
The club is certified by the USATriathlon Organization, but athletes donāt have to be members of that group to join. Open to all ages and athletic levels, the club will be host to a variety of weekly training workouts, monthly dinner meetings with motivational speakers, clinics, local events, and races for a $100 annual fee.
Ā
Members who sign up before the clubās kick-off party will become charter members and entered into a giveaway raffle for a $1,500 triathlon bike and gear donated from club sponsors.
Ā
The clubās kickoff party will take place on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. at Go For It Sports, 8040 El Camino Real in Atascadero. Members will have the opportunity to meet over food and drinks, learn tips from experts, and hear all they need to know about taking full advantage of club programs.
Ā
For more information, or to receive a new member application, call Pruitt at 458-0655 or e-mail coach@teamvformation.com. Anyone interested can also call North at 748-7545 or e-mail cctc@att.net. Visit the club online at CentralCoastTriathlonClub.com.
