The Wildling Art Museum invites the public to spend a weekend touring the unique and private studios of 28 area artists, Nov. 20 to 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Santa Ynez Valley Artists’ Studio Tour offers an opportunity to meet the artists and learn about what inspires them.

The tour includes many well-known artists who have participated before: Donna and Wesley Anderegg, Mike Bardy, Gwen and Bill Cates, Jim Farnum, Rebecca Gomez, Ron Guthrie, Anna Jud Hallauer, Rick Hubbard, Gene Inglis-Ward, Joseph Knowles, Mike Magrill, Teresa McNeil MacLean, Rise Delmar Ochsner, Judi Stauffer, Bud Tullis, C. Wood, Seyburn Zorthian, and Pamela Zwehl-Burke, plus eight new artists: Sarah Chamberlin, Chris Hansen, Jamie McConnell, Ann McGee, Zoe Nathan, Larry R. Rankin, Jane Schwarzwalter, and Nancy Yaki.

During the weekend, artwork will be for sale at the studios, with 20 percent of the proceeds going to support the Wildling. For information about all the artists and to see images of their work, visit wildlingmuseum.org.

To participate, buy a tour packet—which includes a pass, map, and postcards featuring each artist, plus a reception at the museum from 4 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 20—from the Wildling Art Museum. Packets cost $25 per person, or $40 a couple. For more information, call 688-1082.
