Authors Sandy Nathan and Barbra Minar will be at The C Gallery at 3 p.m. on Feb. 6 for an authors’ talk revolving around the question “How do we get what we want?” The talk is in conjunction with the current C Gallery show Women of Spirit, featuring paintings by Karen Canton and sculptures by Lindy Kern.
Nathan currently has two books available: Numenon, a tale of mysticism and money; and Stepping Off the Edge, about learning and living spiritual practice.
Barbra Minar has written numerous books in varied genres, from children’s books to spiritual nonfiction to poetry. Published by Foothills Publishing in New York, her latest book is a collection of poems, Disking Deep. Other books of hers include Unrealistic Expectations and Living With Chronic Illness.
The public has been invited to join in the discussion by sending their responses to the key question to connie@thecgallery.com. The authors will share some of the responses, and each will deliver a 10-minute presentation. There will be a Q-and-A session as well, with refreshments at intermission. Both authors will have books for sale and autographing. There’s no charge for the talk.
