Shows at the Solvang Festival Theater continue this season with a diverse mix of live performances and community events.
Eerie frights await those brave enough to enter the annual Solvang Parks and Recreation’s haunted house. Walk through on the evenings of Oct. 24 and 25. Kid-friendly tours run from 6 to 6:30 p.m., and then the nightmares get scarier during regular tours from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Buy tickets at the door.
The Robert Cray Band is stopping at the theater on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. as part of its nationwide Out Driving Around Tour. The Grammy winner, Robert Cray, is a singer and guitarist known for blues tunes.
Excitement continues with Chris Perondi and his team of rescue dogs during the Stunt Dog Experience. The canines will perform midair stunts and athletic feats. Tricks start at 5 p.m. on Nov. 8.
One Night of Queen, performed by Gary Mullen and The Works, is set to visit Solvang on Nov. 14. The tribute to the rock ’n’ roll legend begins at 7 p.m.
The next night, Sabor del Valle, a celebration of Latino culture and heritage, will be hosted at the theater on Nov. 15 starting at 4 p.m. Guests can enjoy live performances, a food and wine garden, and art displays. A percentage of proceeds benefit Centro Corazón Comunitario.
