Join the Santa Ynez Valley community on Wednesday evenings for free summertime tunes at Solvang Park. The Susan Williams Summer Music Series, presented by the Solvang Chamber of Commerce, will continue through Aug. 26 featuring rock, blues, country, and jazz bands.

“While enjoying the music, guests can also indulge in delicious food and beverages available from numerous local restaurants,” the chamber announced. “Alcoholic beverages will also be permitted at the park; however, we urge all attendees to consume responsibly.”

On July 29, Territorial Law will be playing. In August, hear from The Ripley’s, Stacked, Smelly Cat, and Soul Kool.

This year the concert series is named after Susan Williams, a Solvang business owner and former chamber president who passed away in April. In a social media post, the organization said the series will honor Williams’ lasting impact and legacy of connecting the community through music.

The park is located at 1630 Mission Drive in Solvang. Concertgoers are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Bands will play at the gazebo from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays.
