The Four Seasons
What’s it rated? TV-MA
When? 2025-present
Where’s it showing? Netflix

The gang is back for season 2, and some high tensions and satisfactory resolutions are headed your way. If you haven’t watched season 1, first of all, get it together. Tough love? Maybe, but have you seen this cast list? Go watch it before you cannonball into season 2.

The gang is one fewer after the passing of Nick (Steve Carell), but since his younger girlfriend, Ginny (Erika Henningsen), is pregnant, they’ll be seven again soon. Kate (Tina Fey) is furious with Danny (Colman Domingo) for moving to Italy with his husband, Claude (Marco Calvani), and Ginny is furious with Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver) for what she sees as her late love’s ex hoarding control over his estate out of spite. It’s not a great time for the old gang to see each other, but conflict be damned, tradition overrides. Plus, they need to scatter Nick’s ashes, even if they aren’t happy with each other.

As with the first season, the second’s episodes cluster into seasons, places, and life stages over the course of a year. Four different locations, hardships and triumphs, mourning and celebration. The cast is funny, and the tender moments still feel authentic. (16 27-to-35-min. episodes)
