Temple Beth El in Santa Maria invites locals to celebrate Independence Day on July 5 this year with a concert of bluegrass music by Blue Moonshine. The event will include a barbecue and other refreshments to accompany the live music. Fiddler Amaya Rose Dempsey will join the jam as a guest artist.
The celebration concert happens July 5 at 1 p.m. at Temple Beth El, 1501 E. Alvin St., Santa Maria. Cost is $18. More information is available at 929-6071.
