It’s not too early to sign up for the Lompoc Parks, Recreation, and Urban Forestry Department’s eighth annual golf tournament, held April 10 at the Marshallia Golf Course.

The event is open to golfers 14 years and older and will be played in a four-person scramble format. Early bird registration costs $100 until March 18, after which the cost will be $120. Active military or Vandenberg Air Force Base members can sign up for $80. The deadline to register is April 1.

The fee includes a box lunch and barbecue dinner, team awards for the top three finishers, closest-to-pin awards, and a long drive competition.

Sponsorships are also available at $150 for a tee sign and $500 for business sponsors, including four golfers and a tee sign.
