Athletes of all skill levels are encouraged to sign up for the Santa Maria Valley YMCA’s Rookie Sports Floor Hockey program and Youth and Adult Arena Soccer classes.
The YMCA’s Rookie Sports program is designed for children ages 3 to 6 and focuses on social and physical skills and fun. The deadline to register is Jan. 15, and the cost is $48 for YMCA members and $63 for participants.
Youth and adult registrations for arena soccer are ongoing. Children ages 3 to 12 are eligible to register through Jan. 27. The cost is $65 for YMCA members and $80 for participants. Adults of all ages have until Jan. 13 to sign up for men’s, women’s, coed, and over-35 arena soccer divisions. The cost is $400 for a YMCA member team and $425 for participant teams.
