Standing Sun Wines in Buellton welcomes a new featured artist to its gallery space with a reception on Aug. 18. The work of visual artist David J. Diamant will show in Standing Sun’s gallery through Sept. 8.

Diamant is known for his pen-and-ink, photography, digital imaging, and acrylic and spray paint works, which show on various media. He uses plexiglass, wood panels, canvas, paper, and recycled materials as showpieces for his visual art. Diamant is a Santa Barbara native who attended colleges out of state. He has completed murals, curated exhibits, and has shown in group and solo events in Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, Solvang, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
