The C Gallery has a little bit of art to show. The “Miniatures” show opens at the gallery in Los Alamos on Oct. 24. An artists’ reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. for the more than 30 artists submitting work.

Artists from as far north as Oregon and as far south as Long Beach will submit work no larger than 6-by-6 inches—including the frame. Participants’ ages vary from 7 to 80 years old. Genres include paintings, wax creations, animation caricatures, sculptures and wood carvings, needlepoint, rug hooking, and hoops of linen with buttons and embroidery.

The C Gallery is located at 466 Bell St. in Los Alamos, across the street from the post office and next door to Cafe Quackenbush. For more information about the show, call 344-3807 or visit thecgallery.com.
