The Santa Maria Public Library’s Shepard Hall gallery usually showcases solo artist exhibitions, but now includes a show by collaborating artists Juan Manuel Perez Salazar and Patty Smith showing through the month. The exhibition “Y/BEES?” includes an artist reception on July 17 at 5:30 p.m. in Shepard Hall.
The contemporary exhibition includes artwork that dissects the state of the honeybee through painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, and assemblage.
